SUBJECT: Urban Corps Grant from Atlanta University Center, Inc,
Pursuant to our recent conversation I am attaching a list of summer interns from
colleges in the Atlanta University Center. We placed fifty College Work=-Study
financed students and seventeen non-work-study interns. You can interpolate
Which college had interns from the attached list. ,
The seventeen non-work-study interns were placed by the Urban Corps at an
approximate cost to us of $13,000.
This information might be helpful in encouraging the Atlanta University Center, Inc.,
to use part of the money contracted to them by the City of Atlanta to support interns
from the Urban Corps.
Naturally we are proud of the work-study funds allocated to us by Atlanta University
college financial-aid officers so please encourage this.
