Dear Mr. Delius:
The above property was recently appraised by an M.A.I. appraiser
at $82,500.00, and the County has an offer from a private
citizen for $85,000.00. However, the Commission instructed
this office to hold up any negotiation until the attitude of
the City was ascertained.
The appraisal was made by Mr. John Dabney, M.A.I., and is full
and complete, with numerous comparables. You are at liberty
to examine same should you care to do so.
Our offer from the private citizen cannot be held open
indefinitely, and therefore we request a statement of the
City's desires as soon as practicable.
