Dear Mr. Key:
Thank you very much for your letter of April 10, 1969 advising us
that, due to conditions beyond your control, the Board of Trustees
of the Atlanta Horticultural Center, Inc. on Mareh 31, 1969 voted
that the corporation would be dissolved and that no further effort
be made for fund raising or for the development of a garden center
in Piedmont Park.
Accordingly, I am advising all those City officials and employees
involved of your decision and we will make such appropriate notations
as indicated on the contractual agreement on file with the Director of
Finance.
We, too, appreciate your cooperation and understanding in trying to
provide for Atlanta a much needed facility. Perhaps at some future
date additional efforts might be made and thank you again for your
continued civic interest, I am
