Mr. Charles L. Davis
Comptroller

City of Atlanta

City Hall

Atlanta, Georgie 30303

Dear Charles:

Thank you very much for sending me a copy of Local Fublic
Agency Letter No. 420 which relates to a none-cash grant-—in-aid
credit of 25% cost of the facility used for cultural, exhibition,
or civic purposes. i agree with you that the definition does,
in fact, fit the Cyclorema. since 211 of Grant Park is surrounded
by end included in the Model City Area, I wonder if we place the
new structure back in Grant raerk if we would be eligible for this
25% credit.

The Aldermanic sarks Committee plans to hold a formal
Giscussion of the best lecation for the new Cyclorama at the
regular monthly meeting on August 15, 1967, at 2:00 p.m. in
Committee Room No. 2. A number of interested citizens have been
asked to attend and give their opinions as to the best location
for the Cyclorama. I think it would be very advisable for you
or perhaps George Berry to put in an appearance and perhaps discuss
the financial edvantages to the City as relates to grant-in-aid
credit towards the cost of an urban renewal project or the Model
City project.

Sincerely,

Jack C, Delius
