Dear Mr. Kurtz:

Thank you very much for your letter of March 6, 1969, which
has just been received regarding our plans for a new home to
house the Cyclorama. I am extremely pleased that the Parks
Committee has recommended Bill Finch's firm as co-designers
and project architects with the firm of Thompson and Hancock.
These firms have not been officially appointed in that funds are
not yet available for the project and a resolution will not be put
through the Board of Aldermen until such time as an account
has been established.

We agree with you that an Orientation Room ie needed to set the
etage for the visitor and we appreciate and solicit your comments
and advice on other items which might be included in the Cyclorama.

We appreciate your continuing interest, and I am

Cordially,

Jack C. Delius
