PARADE ORDER

BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE DOGWOOD FESTIVAL COMMITTEE AND THE ATLANTA
STADIUM AUTHORITY COMMITTEE, A DOGWOOD-BASEBALL PARADE WILL BE HELD
IN THE CITY OF ATLANTA ON APRIL 12, 1966

A. EORMATION: All units to be in position for parade no later than
1 o'clock P. M.

B. STARTING TIME: The Parade will start at Peachtree Street and Baker
Street at 1:30 P.M.

C. ROUTE: From Peachtree and Baker Street, South on Peachtree Street
to Whitehall Street to Trinity Avenue to Dispersal Area.

D. DISPERSAL: All Units will disperse as directed by the Atlanta Police,
E. MARCHING CADENCE: 120 steps to the minute.
F. INTERVALS: 25 yards between Floats, Units and Divisions.

G. All equipment too heavy to safely cross the Peachtree-Whitehall
Street Viaduct will turn off on Decatur Street. Clear through the
Atlanta Police Department.

H. Deputy Grand Marshal J. L. Moseley will assist the Parade Marshals
in Controlling the Parade in route,

I. The throwing or passing out of candy, gum or other objects from the
parade route is prohibited.

J. Participation in the Parade in no way releases anyone from observ-
ing all the laws and regulations of the City of Atlanta.

K. The Firing of Firecrackers and arms is prohibited without the
specific approval of the Police Department.

L. Failure to obey Police or Parade Officials may be cause for ejec=-
tion from the Parade.

M. MAXIMUM HEIGHT OF EQUIPMENT NOT TO EXCEED 13 FT. TO CLEAR OVERHEAD
TRAFFIC LIGHTS. . ,

FIRST DIVISION: Assembly Area: West side of Peachtree Street. Head
. Of Division at Baker Street. All Units enter West
Peachtree Street from West Peachtree Place and proe-
ceed South to the assembly point as directed by
Parade Marshals. Marshals to be assigned at luncheon.
