This is in further response to your recent
letter to the President joining in the invitation
extended to him by Mayor Ivan Allen of Atlanta
to attend the opening game of the Atlanta Braves
on April 12th,
The President appreciated the invitation
very much but has written Mayor Allen that he
is already committed to opening the baseball
season here on the 11th and will be unable to
go to Atlanta the following day.
He sends his thanks for your expression
of interest in the matter, and warm good wishes.
