Dear Ivan: Re: Atlanta Stadium Opening Game
As you know, I am chairman of the committee
which will handle the opening day ceremonies on April

I will not burden this letter with the details
of the plans, but Mrs. Ann Moses is familiar with them.
However, the committee seeks your help and the help of
Governor Sanders in two respects.
First, I understand from Ann that the Governor
has handled Billy Graham to the extent that his appearance
on the night of April 12 is no major problem. Second,
the committee would appreciate the extending of an in-
vitation by you and Governor Sanders to President Johnson
for the opening game.- In the event the President would
accept, we would like to know as quickly as possible,
for this would necessitate some additional planning.
We would be grateful to you if you would talk
to Carl about both of these contacts and let me hear
from you.
