Dear Mr. Butler:
Thank you for your letter of June 9th, and I join with you in
expressing appreciation to Firefighters local union #134 and
to the loyalty of their men who maintained fire service for the
people of Atlanta.
I have repeatedly recognized the International Association of
Firefighters Local # 134 in the news media, and will continue
to express appreciation to them.
Sometimes we don't get everything we want in the newspapers,
but we can keep on trying.
