Mr. Henry Aaron
c/o The Milwaukee Braves
Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Dear Mr. Aaron:

I write you as one of your ardent fans and admirers and also ag a member
of the Atlanta commmnity.

For several weeks now, we have looked forward to the probability of the
Braves moving to Atlanta. My 12 year old son is hoping that the baseball
season will, somehow, start earlier than usual to afford him an opportu-
nity to see you and other great National League performers in action.

In the midst of ali of the maneuvering before and behind the scenes, the
feeling of the players themselves might not have gotten just consideration.
You were, therefore, correct in being concerned about your moving to
Atlanta - a city in the “Deep South."

The geographic relationship that Atlanta has with the deep south is the
only relationship. You will find Atlanta to be a city with its eyes
fixed on the future.

The probleme of social change and economic advancement are present in
Atlanta as they are in all other cities. The big difference here is
that Atlanta ie doing something about then.

You will find some of the best housing in the world available to you in
Atlanta. You will. find ¢ultural and educational progress equal to any.

I would implore you to give Atlanta a chance to show her affection for
you and other members of the Braves’ team, It might be well to give a
visit to Atlanta in the near future. I ehall be happy to give you and
yours a guided tour of the city.

Come te Atlanta!
