This will acknowledge receipt of your letter of
August 16. lam grateful for the kind things you
had to say about me.
Iam enclosing a copy of my testimony presented
recently before the Senate Commerce Committee in
Washington. This is just about as complete informa-
tion as I can furnish you, It will give you an idea of
how Atlanta has been able to cope with the problem
of racial discrimination.
