Mr. Ivan Allen, Mayor
City of Atlanta
Atlanta, Georgia

Dear Mayor Allen:

It is, indeed, heartening to know that you have
the wonderful fortitude to express your true
convictions, irrespective of political entagle-
ments. I am writing you now to express to you
my congratulations and my appreciations. You
deserve everything that is good in life for being
the fine man and leader which Atlanta and the en-
tire nation:should consider a blessing to the
welfare of mankind.

I've been a Democrat all of my life (since June
18, 1901) but in November, I shall cast my vote
for Bo Callaway. I consider 4{t to be the only
respectable course I am privileged to take.

In all sincerity, may God bless you and give you
continued stren th to carry on the great job of
Mayor of our beloved city.
