Mayor Ivan Allen,
City Hall
Atlanta, Georgia

Dear Mayor Allen:

This is the first time in my life I have ever been moved to write to
a public official; however, at a time when I am most ashamed of my
state, I would like to congratulate you on your stand regarding the
disgusting outcome of the Democratic primary.

You have, in my opinion, done an excellent job as Mayor of Atlanta.
In the future, if you should run for any public office - whether it
be for mayor or governor - I will not only vote for you, but will be
happy to work toward your election.

Just one thing - couldn't you please just this once vote fora
Republican and forget the fishing trip! I, too, am a Democrat but
am concerned to a point of frenzy over the possibility of Georgia
falling into the hands of a mad man. Our state needs HELP!

Yours very truly, ae
