Honorable Sir:
Last night I saw you on the CBS late news coverage and I want
to commend you on your fine efforts for the great State of Georgia.
It's true, the Great Seal of Georgia is a little tarnished now and
the future looks grim. After seeing you last night I decided I
would write you and the lead story in this morning's paper on the
editorial page (enclosed) fully expresses my sentiments -
Georgia deserves better.
I was born in Atlanta and lived there all my life until the past
two years and what happens there concerns me a great deal as
I hope to return some day. My family and many good friends
live in Georgia.
You have done a wonderful job in Atlanta and I sincerely wish you
the very best in the future. Atlanta, and the State of Georgia,
need you, more so now than ever. Good luck and God bless you.
