Dear Mayor Allen:
I know that you will get plenty of correspondence condeming
your testimony in behalf of President Kennedy's Civil Rights
Bill.
While I do not necessarily agree with your position on the
Public Accommodations Section of the Bill, I want to tell
you that at least one of the citizens of your community ad-
mires your forthrightness and courage.
I think Atlanta is very fortunate to be represented by a
person of your caliber.
