I became very concerned about the cuts we have received when I heard that Chicago had received 15, 000 additional NYC slots for the summer. I will have more definite information on the Chicago slots by Wednesday morning. If this is true I think we should make a big complaint with someone high in the U . S. Department of Labor . The NYC program has been one of our best programs for getting young people employed. We should not be penalized for our success in Atlanta. I plan to talk to some of my contacts in the Labor Department when I am in Washington Wednesday afternoon. DS :fy �
