PROPOSED COUNCIL OF ECONOMIC ADVISORS At the last meeting of the Working Committee we discussed the attached proposal which grew out of earlier discussions concerning an urban coalition. It was agreed that this item would be put on the agenda of the October 9th meeting. By way of background, it should be noted that the relationships between such an Urban Economic Council, Urban America, and an urban coalition was predicated upon conditions and premises which have, to some extent, been altered by the organization of The Urban Coalition in its present form. The value of such a council, its funct i ons and its relations to The Urban Coalition necessarily must be re-assessed in terms of our present situation. �
