The Regional Office of the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ·has requested that we submit our · request for recertification no later than June 1, 1967, in order to. provide for adequate review time bef~re expiration of our present certification. Attached is a copy. of the 1965 report prepared by your department or agency. Would you please update this report to reflect 1966 activities and expenditures, and the budget for 1967 activities. Please return your completed report no later than April 15, 1967. In view of the many federally-assisted programs in which Atlanta is involved, it is most important that we carefully document the progress and achieyeme"nts which have been realized in the past year in order to as sure the recertification of our Workable Program and continued eligibi lity for federal-aid programs.
