'-....... The President is appreciative of your interest in writing him about these events and while it is too early to know about the possibilities for the spring of 1966, it is apparent from the schedule that is developing for the summer that he will be unable to accept the July invitation. Although I do not want to be unduly encouraging about the possibilities for next year, you are welcome to renew the invitation, if you wish, about three months in advance of the date.
