MINDED TRAITORS IN COOPERATION WITH BLIND. SENTIMENTALISTS ARE ATTEMPTING TO FORCE Ten thousand American Negroes are now being trained and educated in Moseow as key men in what Stalin hopes will be a bloody Communist revolution in the U. S. A. These Negroes, through American Communists, are now establishing their . contacts with every Negro community in the U.S. A. Encouraged by the ignorant sentiment of foolish preachers, blind educators and political demagogues like Eleanor Roosevelt and Henry Wall~ae, these Negroes are cooperating with .A:merican political demagogues in an attempt to break down all social barriers between the black an<;l' white. Among the many demands tha-t they now make are the following : 1. They demand that all laws against intermarriage of black and white be repealed. It is the belief of the Communist that America will be easy to control if they can make of us a nation of m?ngrel mulattos. 2. Through the leadership of political dema. gogues and Communists, they would force Negro children and· Negro young people in- 3- / to whit e schools and colleg.es, which is the short cut into intermixture of black and white blood.

. They would repeal all Jim Crow laws an.d

compel white women to crowd into trains and busses with the blacks, thus breaking down all commonsense barriers designed to protect both races from the wrong kind of mixture. • WHITE RACE TO DISAPPEAR? A prominent political braintruster r ecently said in W ashlngton: " It is only a matter of time when t her e will be no white race. The intermixture of black and white in the U. S. A. will r emove the whit e race." WOULD FORCE MIXED SWIMMING POLITICIANS CATER TO NEGRO SLUM VOTE These pro-Stalin politicians who follow Henry W al).ace and Eleanor Roosevelt have passed laws in certain states f.o rb~dding the erection of privately owned commercial swimming pools unless these swimming pools permit black and white to swim together. Political fakirs in both old parties are willing to sell the white man down the r iver in order to line up the Negr o vote in th e slums of the big cities in the North. I t is only a matter of a few mo nths UJ1til it is likely t o be declar ed un-Const itutional and unlawful to send a child to a school for whites only, or a young ma:n arrd a young woman t o a college, for whites only. PUBLIC TOILETS TO BE REMOVED In W ashington, D. C., public toilets for Negroes have been destroyed and Negroes n ow invade t he toilet facilities originally erected for whites only. In view of the fact that nearly three-f ourths of the Negro race is infected with venereal diseases, this f act alone makes such mixture ,of the races virtually criminal. · -4 - PRESIDENT HARRY TRUMAN · has allowed hin;iself to give his 0 . K. to a socalled civil rights program which, in fact, was originally outlined by a confer ence of Negro Communists held in Detroit, Michigan. President -5- Truman was mislead by a group of Northern politicians into believing that this program of social intermixture of black and white was smart politics. This is no· longer a political issue. It is a question of whether or not the white race is going to commit treason ag.ainst itself and its America. If the white people do not awaken and start voting for -public officials who believe honestly and fearlessly in white supremacy, it is only a matter of time until the Negro vote in the South and the Southwest, will be powerful enough to subdue and belittle and destroy the leadership of the white man. We who believe in protecting the white man's interest do not hate the Negro and would not rob him of any rights guaranteed under the Constitution, but we are going to fight to the bitter end any attempt on the part of "\Vashington politicians to force the following upon us: . IN OTHER WORDS WE FIGHT 1. The F. E. P. C.-a law now being advocated by the leaders of both old parties in the North to force a white man to hire Negroes, 'whether -6- 'he wants them or not. Such a law is already • on the statutes of New York State which makes it a criminal offense, punishable by_ fine or imprisonment, to ask: any would-be employee his race, religion or color. It , is even a criminal offense to ask how long. he has been in the U. S., and whether he came from a foreign country. This is a trick law to force people to hire Negroes and Jewish reftigees. The same political forces are trying to get the same kind of a law to apply to the w);iole Nation. To illustrate: If this law were to pass and a businessman in Oklahoma or Ohio, or any other state, called an employment agency £.or help and said, "I want five white girls to work in my office," he could be fined or imprisoned or both for saying "white. " Or if he should say, "i want f.ive Christian girls to work in my· office, he c;ould be fined or imprisoned or both for saying Christian, on the grounds that this would offend the Jews. 2. Intermarriage. These revolutionists in our midst are anxious to create situations where it will malrn it easy for the weaker elements in both races to intermarry. Many states have statutes against this, but a Federal law is being advocated which would outlaw all at(Conti.nued on Page Eleven) • -7- \ \ \ IL J. 1 N O ls\ . .) l 0 . .. I 0 i r,I ~I" NJi. . Black and white mixture in schools. St r ange enough, our colleges ar e so f ull of Communists, pinks and pro-Russian pr op agandists that an alar min g number of our public school teachers and college pr ofessors actu ally favor the • mixture of black and white children and y oung p·eople in schools. W e white p eople must fight t his t o the death. To illustr ate: Students of physiology know t h at a Negro boy comes into puber ty much earlier t han a white boy, and sex relationships on t h e part of Negro boys at t he age of 10 is not uncommon. W hite p eople must not p ermit these blacks to be turned loose on our little scho9l girls. .4. Black bureaucrats. The same politicia~ in both old parties who ar e attempt ing to commit the above atro cities a g.ainst t he white race think it is cute p olitics to appoint black bureau crats t o high office t o have rule over us and t o be put into positions of political authority. W hite men must oppose t h ese cheap- practices.

Truman 's Communist-originated civil rights program is a sch~me to destroy the authority of a state over its own affairs. It is expected even in this session ' of Congress t hat with the help of Eleanor Roosevelt Democrats, Northern Republicans and Communists that a law will be passed through Congress taking states rights away from these Southern states: Should this happen the black will overrun the whites in an arrogant and in a bloody bulldozing manner unequalled since Reconstruction days. 05 and -5-- ( I.HN/2_) . No, Abraham was a Gentile. His father was a worshipper of 'idols. He not only worshipped idols, but he taught others to indulge in the same abomination. And yet God loved Abraham. Indeed, so great was God's love for this remarkable man, that He honored him by calling him "my friend." An~ A,b raham has . come down to us in 'history as the only person in all creation whom God ever called "friend." What _would you not give, dear reader, if you too could be called the friend of God? Sometimes we Jews get the false idea that just because we are Jews, we are therefore entitled to some sort of charmed existence, and that some.how God owes us eternal care and eternal life. Nothing could ·be further from the truth than this. Jews in the times of the Lord Jesus Christ used to boast of this false security, but one day the prophet John the Baptist said t.o . them: "And think not to say within' your.s elves, We have Abraham to our father: for- I say unto you, that God is able of th-ese stone·s to r aise up children unto Abraham" (Matt. 3:9'). The ' ' I In the days of Abraham, the word, "Jew" was unknown. Stich a thing as a Jewish natian was unheard of, and on every side were only Gentiles. And yet, God loved Abraham, a Gentile: It is of supreme importance that every thinking .Tew should find out why God loved Abraham. The answer is not hard to find, nor far to ,seek. It is found in our own Toj ah, in Genes_is 16:6"And he believed in the Lord; and he counted.: it to him for righteousness. . . . • . " :At that time·. Abraham was one hundred years old, an.d Sarah liis wife wa.s ·ninety, years -old. Both of the!ll w;ere beyond all ·human poss'ibility ·of . ever becomrpg parents. Yet God came. to :Abraham and told him, "He that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir." And Abraham was just simple enoug.h and trusting enough to believe that what God had said would come to pass, even though all human nature indicated that it would be an utter scientific impossibility. Long before this incident, our Jewish Talmud tells us that Abraham had become disgusted with his father's and mother's idols; and although he had been brought up in his parents' religion, _his own mind realized that that religion was vile and was in direct disobedience to the will of God. And Abraham as a young boy set his teeth, and turned his feet away from his father's home, and away from 4is own kindred, and went forth wherever God would lead him. If Abrahani had not done that-if he had stayed by his father and mother, which was the easiest thing to do-would there be a Jewish nation today? Listen, you rabbis! Hear us, you so-called Jewish leaders, who mislead thousands of innocent Jews! Don't ever again describe a Jew who becomes a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ as a "traitor to his mother's religion." If Abraham had not been a "traitor" to his mother's religion you would not be a rabbi today, and you would not be a Jewish leader today. It is only because we have had such "traitors" among us-men who have dared to stand for what is right, and who have gone down to death because of their fath-it is only because of such ir.ien among us that God did not destroy the Jewish nation many, many years ago because of the fulness of their iniquity. God sent his only begotten Son into the world nearly two thousand years ago, thus providing an answer to Augur's question in the Hebrew Proverbs, "What is his (God's) son's name?" (Prov. 30:5). God asks us to believe in His Son as the only Saviour from our sins, as the only person through whom we may have eternal life. In asking us to do this, God has required from us exactly the same exercise of faith which He asked from Abraham nearly four thousand years ago. Abraham believed God, but we Jews of today are so much smarter than Abraham that we refuse to believe God; and we quibble as to whether the Lord Jesus Christ could scientifically have been born of a virgin! Thousands of Gentiles today are actually believing God, just as A.braham did of old. They are willing to believe God could and did cause the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ by the Virgin Mary. In so believing, these Gentiles are exercising exactly the same kind of faith that Abraham exercised, and so they have become, and God has called them, "the spiritual seed of Abraham." They are truly God's children, and they are putting to shame our Jewish nation, because they believe God, and our Jewish nation does not believe God. The synagogues were crowded this Yorn Klppur as in previous Yorn Kippurs, and thousands of Jews fasted and prayed and cried to God the whole day long. But when the day was finished, did they have any a ssurance that their sins were forgiven? Did God answer their prayers? No! Listen to what God says in Isaiah 1 :15. "And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood." So, dear reader, you can keep on praying and fasting until the crack of doom, and your prayers will get no higher than the beautiful dome of your synagogue. The reason is that God has provided for you a way by which your prayers can be a nswered. If you will not take it, He cannot r eceive you. That way is through the Lord J esus Christ, who said in John 14:6. " I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." How long then will our Jewish people remain blind? How long will you allow only Gentiles to enjoy -all. the .blessings that God bas promised'to· those who believe in ·the Lord Jesus Christ? Why . not put God to the test? Just say in your own heart that you bonestly. do..-want to be .a child of; God, and that you honestly warit to believe. in the Lord J esus Christ if God want::; you so to believe. If you will do this sincer ely, ·and then ask God from the bottom · of y.o ur heart to show you whether or not the Lord Jesus Christ is truly your Saviour; we are satisfied to abide by the reimlts you will receive. Will you try it? Then you will truly be a child of Abraham, because you will have the same faith in · Go.d's promises that Abraham had. Smith E M ORY BURKE CHAIN - GANGED BY THE JEWISH GESTAPO I am today under sentence of· t hree years to t he Geor gia chain gang. Thanks to the friends of the Christian Nationalist Crusade, I am able to appeal the decision of the Supreme Court of t he State of Geor gia and am carrying my fight for liber ty to t he Supreme Court of t he United States. I was frame d by t he or gani zed J ews who bought perjured testimony, intimidated vvitnesses and corrupted public officials. Thls is the story of my life, my background and my exp eri ence with t he Jewish gestapo. I n the Southland , as in the cou nt ry as a whole, there a re two basically opposing t raditions fo r ever engaged in a mortal struggle with each oth er to , determi ne wh ich is to be t he guiding outlook of the future . The one is the sup reme object ive and tradition of t he 'W hiteman ; r1amely, t he saving 'of his heritage, hi s self-respect and his future. Th e other tradition is the one of th e Carpet-Bagger, Scalawag, and Negro 'fyranny. I am a product of t he Whiteman 's tradition, and I am proud to p roclaim t hat I fight in its ranks. In saving t he Sout hland 's t r adi tion of the vVhiteman we shal l save Amer ica, and iu saving America we shall save the whole Wh ite Worl d from t he starkly threat ening menace of -4 - tyranny and slavery under t he H ammer and Sickle of World Communism. W it h these t houghts in mind early in 1946 I decided to do my part in preserving and helping the W hite community of t he Southland, which is-expanded and projected into a higher level- th e entire ·whi te community of America. The noble tradjtion of t he Whiteman of the Southland must expand, and absorb un to itself t he total t r adition of t he Whiteman of America. I n this sense I feel that t he Whiteman of the Sout h has a distinct and historic mission to carry out, that he will succeed in accomplishing not alone an historic task for the South, but for America and t he White World as a whole. The valnes of the Whiteman of ,the Southland ar e not gone with th e wind, bu t are Jiving and b1·eathlng realities, and upon t hem :i:est t he fntnre of t he whole Whiteman's Wor ld. In t he Sou thland- and almost in the Southland alone-th e traditional \Vhiteman 's Way of LHe still lives in t he daily living, and in th e heart 's places of deepest convictions, in the millions of her Whit emen and Whitewomen. In this r edoubt of t he old American faith, and way of life, still lives t he spirit of the ea rly Americans. W e Whltemen of the South must take up the bap.ner s of this old faith and march under t hem from our redoubt into the task of winning the hearts of all of our Whlte brethren in America. Early in 1946 these thoughts kept pounding into my consciousness. Sever al of my friends and I organize d the Columbians. W e rented an -5- office, installed a telephone~ and on August 17, 1946 the State of Georgia granted us a charter and we were incorporated with the title "The,_ Columbians, Inc." with myself as president. We were incorporated as a political organization to work for the advancement of the White citizens of Georgia and America; we stated that we opposed Communism and believed in honoring American traditions. Our charter visioned an organization of the nativist character. I proposed then, as I propose now, to fight the Whiteman 's battle and let the chips fall where they will. We fought, however, the Zionist and Communist organizations, and associated movements, not on the basis of individuals within them but on the basis of the organized whole of these anti-American organizations. We proposed to elect men to public office who would r epresent the great mass of the White citizenry, men who would not be held in bondage by any of the special-interest groups, regardless of their nature whether , economic, social, racial, rultural, or otherwise. W e maintained that th e Jews of the Zionist movement are primarily concerned with the future of the J ews as a nationality, and the future of I srael as a sover eign state. Their first loyalty-allegiance- cannot be to the American future , but to the Jewish future. 'l'hey do not, therefore, form a part of our people; they should not have the right to bold public office in our society, and should not have the power to direct our political affairs. The Stars and Stripes is just the -6- flag representing the land in which they live· the flag for which they have real devotion is the 'Star of David flag of Israel. We fought for the repeal of the amendments , to the Constitution which were illegally ratified o-ter the prostrate form of the Southland, while she was living in the terror of Negro baY.onets under the direction of the hated 'fhad Stevens. We published the ·writings of Jefferson,_ Madison, Washington, and others among the Founding Fathers on the Negro Question. We believed that it is self-evident that the Negroes form a separate and distinct people from the White community, and all of our literature and speaking carried forward this thought. We favored the enactment of national legislation prohibiting intermarr!age between the races, establishing the segregation pattern of the Southland throughout the country, ~nd ev:entually the creation of a Negro homeland m Africa as was s~rongly advocated by Lincoln, and all _of the Foundmg Fathers. We welcomed all members of the Whiteman's community into our fe}!o:,vship, but we worked mainly among the underprivileged- those of our brothers and sisters that , many of the politicians are wdnt to call ' ' poor white trash.' ' I despise that dirty attitude of narrow class-conscio{i.sness just as deeply as I despise the Marxist. kind of class-consciousness. But r egardless of what these vicious, anti-social and classconscious Scalawags may think, the miserable slums will yet come down-profits or no profits to their -7- • clients on the m.i,sery of a people- and the e-roded acres in our rural areas will blossom for.t h with milk and honey and beautiful timberlands. The war has proved that o.ur capacity to produce the things that our people need is practically unlimited. In one way or another our gigantic industrial machine is going to do just that. Under a patriotic leii.dership of our people this task can be accomplished along the traditional landmarks of the existing economic system. The alternative is Communism. In the future the class-consciousness of the right will perish along with the class-consciousness of the left. In spite of the smugness of some of our financially well-off White brethren, there are far fewer betrayers of the Whiteman's Way of Life among the simple and hard-working young textile workers and farmers than there are among their sons and daughters who go off to college and come back home confirmed! Mongrelizers and Marxists. OUR SYMBOLISM The name "Columbia" is the poetical name of America. I designed the flag of the organization. Its background is the Battle F lag of the Confederacy, the square four foot by four foot flag of Lee and Jackson ·with the red field and the blue c'ross of St. Andrew. Over this background of the organization 's flag is a large white disc and inscribed upon it is a red lightning-bolt. As we today sleep within the vicious embrace of alien octopus-coil., the lightning- 8- , bolt and its thunder must awaken us to the heavy duties involved in the survival, spiritually and physically, of our people and race. This is the meaning of the lightning-bolt symbol. I also designed a lightning-bolt lapel insignia, and hundreds of shoulder insignia were embroidered by the faithful womenfolk of the organization. Most of the members were either veterans or workers and khaki clothing grew to be considered as the uniform of the organization. OUR PUBLICATION The Columbian organization published a paper titled "The Thm1,derboit." The letters of the title \ were in the form of lightning, the design of which I took from a book titled "The Son of ·Thunder," an epic stor y r evolving around the life of the great statesman of the South, the great ch'ampion of the Whiteman's Way of Life and one of the first thinker s to interpret it as a philosophy and world-outlook, the great Ante Bellum Whiteman, the great Robert Toombs, and wal; written by the well-known author and lecturer vVilliam W. Brewton, of College Park, Georgia, who i a very good friend of mine. Toombs was known as "The Son of Thunder" because of his great and powerful orations on the floor of the United States Senate. In designing the title of the paper I was anxious to remind our Whitefolk that we need oratoriral giants today who can hurl out - 9- • thunderous oratorical lightning at our enemies, even more than we did four and five score years ago. W e called upon our p eople to awaken. WE HOLD A GREAT MEETJNG Our p eople wer e thirsting to hear the truths which we gave them. W e spoke straight from our hearts. At first the newspapers ignored us. But we wer e out to help our p eople, the great rank-and-file of the White p eople, and we wer e quite unconcerned about what the J ewish-controlled newspapers thought about us. Neither were we out to gain the plaudits of the J ewish and Negro peoples. Dan Duke, Assistant Attorney Gener al of Georgia at the time, is a well-known J ew-puppet . H e often goes to N~w York, ~its with Negroes at banquets, and ascertams the wIShes of the J ewish leaders, and t he biO'shots of the Association for the Advancement _gf Colored P eople. DYke about t his time went to work vrith cer tain J e~ish leaders and decided that t he Columbians ha d to be stopped or he would not have a political future. On October 18 we attracted to our meeting a lar ger crowd than most of the politicians could muster . For sever al days we had advertised it with leaflets, given out in house-to-house distribution, and with our sound trucks. More than three thousand p er sons attended the meeting. W e attacked H elen Mankin, who was running for Congress and making a str ong appeal for Negro votes, and supported the late Eugene Talmadge, the venerable and well-known fighter for White Supremacy - 10 - in Georgia. I knew J\IIr . Talmadge and used to t alk with him bv the hours in his hotel suite in Atlanta. Not loii.g before his death he called me an d asked t hat I visit him. Before I could do so he was in t he hospital and on the point of death. I have wonder ed many times why he made that call and t he n ature of the matter that he wished to discuss with me. But we not only discussed specific issues but general principles and ultimate objectives. 'l'he crowd howled and yelled approval. I knew when the meeting was over that the , enemy was frantic. The Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B 'rith and t he Non-Sectarian Anti-Nazi L eague went to work. These ar e two of t he deadly fangs of the J ewish-Gestapo octopus. THE JEWISH-GESTAPO APPEARS One day a man who said his name was James Falco and a woman who said her name was Renee Forrest appear ed in our offices. John Roy Carlson, author of the smea.r books "Undercover " and " The Plotters"-who in r eality is an Armenian mongrel .named Derounian-was in Atlanta at the time giving lectures against Talmadge, and the Columbi'ans. I knew these people were agents of the enemy at first sight . I was quite sure they wer e agents of Derounian , who was supposed to be writing another book, and that he wanted to devote a chapter to the Columbians, to which I had no objection. The trash dished out by Der ounian , Winchell, and their ilk help t he Whiteman's cause. These liar s later said - 11 - 1 / they gained my confidence, but the fact is. I had only one lengthy conversation with them. 'fhey were in our offices altogether only a few hours and during that time they wer e closely watched b; our officer workers. But we wer e sold-out from within our organization. Two of the young menRalph Childers and Lanier "\Valier- who wer e working in our offices did not ]mow tl1 e meaning of what wc were striving to accomplish. Later Lanier WaUer, after he had broken with the Anti-Nazi lJeague and signed an affidavit attesting to my innocence and those associated with me, told me the story I am about to r elate showing how this Comnmnist-front espionage organization used the good name of the State of Georgia to frame-up its enemies ~!. using ~ome of the mongrelizer and scalawag of~ h c1als as 1ts puppet~ and stooges. THE TECHNIQUE OF THE JEWISH-GESTAPO 'fhe r eal name of James Falco is Mario Buzzi and that of Renee Forrest is Renee Fruchtbaum. ' One night after a meeting th ey succeeded in .getting one of the girls in our office to go out with them t o a night-club. Buzzi and Fruchtbaum promised this girl a job as a model in Nen· York at seventy-five dollars per week, and ease and pleDit y the r ~st of her life, if she would turn against the Colwnbians. 'l'he two J ewish-Gestapo agents were leaving for New York that night by air and would leave an airplane ticket at the airport for her in case she d~cided to go up there. They left the New York - 12- i e·lephoue i1umbee or ~he Anti-Nazi League with her. , The next morning at the Columbian offices she told everyone there about her experience of the night before. Ralph Childers and Lanier Waller overh eard what she had to say. They put their heads together and decided they would play the rol e of Judas. 'fhey called Buzzi1and Fruchtbaum in New York and another airplane ticket was sent down aud by th e next morning · both of them were put up in a suite of rooms in a swank New York hotel , wi t h all of th e liquor and wom en they could " ·ant. MONEY, LIQUOR AND WOMEN Buzzi threw dollar tips to bell-hops and bus-boys and told Childers and Waller that if they would play th eir eards right they ·w ould soon be doing the i:;am e. They were drunk about all the time they wer e in New York. Wild parties of mixed Whites and cgroes went on every night. 'l'he young men \\·ere introduced to H erman Hoffman, president of the Anti-Nazi Gestapo; I sado1·e Lipschutz, treasurer, a ,Jew-refugee diamond broker from Belgium who at that time was not even a citizen of the United States and could speak only broken and gibberish English and James H. Sheldon, administrative chairman of the Gestapo. Sheldon did at that time, and does today, have a Negress as his private secretary. Buzzi told Waller that he wa,,;; a member of the {'qmmunist P arty, and everyone in the Gestapo offices tallcr n in praise of Communism. After a -13- / week or so of this wild life, and after signing many lying affidavits while in drunken condition, Sheldon, Buzzi, Fruchtbaum, Childers and Waller took au airplane for Atlanta. I DAN DUKE THE ARCH JEWISH-GESTAPO STOOGE 'rhe three J ewish-Ge_stapo agents put up in suites in one hotel, and Childers and Waller put up in a suite in another hotel. On the morning of their arrival the five of them went to the office of Dan Duke. After a hasty conference Duke told two Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents to accompany Waller and Buzzi on a quest to buy some dynamite. He also had a carload of newspaper photographers ready to go along with them. These people left Duke's offic_e in two cars, the photo~raphers following the car of the GBI agents m which wer e Waller and Buzzi. Waller, in the ·company of Buzzi, succeeded in 1?uring several ~ticks of dynamite from some poor, 1lhterate and ignorant well-diggers, at ten dollars per stick. Waller says they had the money to pay one hund~ed _dollars per stick or even more, for the dynamite if that had been' n ecessary. But seventy or eighty dollars is a great amount of money to a poor well-digger. Immediately the GBI agents arrest Waller and ~he well-diggers, and the photographers start bangmg away, all as planned by Duke, '.1nd the Atlanta and New York agents of the J ewish-Gestapo. All of this happened on the morning of December 10, 1946. -14- 'l'hat afternoon a great conference was held in the office of Eugene Cook, the Attorney General of Georgia, in which Sheldon spoke and said that Dan Duke had invited his organization to send agents into Georgia for the purpose of investigating the Col um bi ans. SCREAMING HEADLINES ABOUT DYN AMITE That afternoon the Atlanta Journal r oared forth with a huge headliiie- TWO COLUMBIANS BARE AIMS OF TERRORISM- and a great front-page story told about the conference in Cook's office. In a four- column space on the front-page appeared a photo in which Buzzi, Sheldon, Waller, Childer s and others were displaying dynamite which was alleged to have been owned by our organization!, when ·as a matter of fact it had been purchased by ·w aller at the direction of Dan Duke. Neither I nor any of us had any more to do with that dynamite than the man in the moon, but that huge photo on page one served the pro~agand_a purposes of our enemies, as Dan Duke and his J ew1sh masters kn ew so well would be the case. The average person reading that paper r eceived the impression, in 11 0 unc.ertain terms, t hat we had bought and owned th at dynamite, and that our object w3:s to dynam~te Negro houses. Our enemies were trymg to convict us in the minds of the public before our trials. WE COUNTER-ATTACK I was out of Atlanta at the time of this confer-- 15 - ence in Cook 's office, being in Montgomery at the bedside of my ill mother, but as quickly as heard of it over the radio, and in a front-page article in one of the Montgomery newspapers, I hurried to Atlanta. On December 12th I swore warrants against Renee Frnchtbau)D, alias Renee Forrest; Mario Buzzi, alias James Falco, and Jacob Shapiro, alias Dr. James H. Sheldon. I accused them of having violatecl sections 26-4901 and 26-4902 of the Georgia Criminal Code; viz., of having illegally acted as detectives and policemen. None of them were citizens of Georgia, and none of them were legally authorized to act as detectives in the State of Georgia. According to the sections of the Criminal Code mentioned above-which were enacted by the Georgia Whiteman 's legislature after the Reconstruction tyranny to fight Carpetbagger detective agencies-both of these requirements must be met. Sheldon had boasted in the press that his agents bad acted as detectives, and the Anti-Nazi L~ gue in a form-letter- a copy or which is in my possessionactually boasted that Sheldon directed the investigation. Fruchtbaum had boasted that she was a "spy " within the Columbian organization. Dan Duke boasted in the press, and later under oath in court, that he invited the Anti-Nazi League to Atlanta to investigate our organization. The hearing on the Sheldon warrant came up on the 14th before ,Tudge Quincy Arnold. Our attorney at the time, J . B. B. Stewa.t·t, called Congressman Wood of tJie r - 16 - Un-American Activities Committee autl be confirmed what we already knew that his commit tee had listed the Non-Sectarian Anti-Nazi League as a Comm1mist-front organization. ' We had tremendous evidence on our side. But in spite of all this, and the brave all-day courtroom battle waged by J . E. B . Stewart, the -judge dismissed my warrant against Sheldon £or lack of evidence ! Later the judge told Ed Bridges, an Atlanta reporter and one of rriy witnesses who attended the conference in Cook's office, " Ed, old boy, y011, had nie scared for awhile. It looked, like. I was going to ha·1;e to b1ind ov er Sheldon. I woiild hacl fo have done so 1f y ou _ had said 'investigator ' rather than ' invest-iga,t·i ng'  ! This same judge dismissed my warrant ag·ainst Fruchtbaum in January, 1947 on practically identi cal circumstances. My warrant ha, llf'W r been served on Buzzi. H e skipped to,,n before it could be served, but I know one deputy in pa rticular who is still a1uious to serve it on him. The mill. of t hr Lord grind slowly but exceeding finf'. This young man, Clarence Kight, later stated that the whole case against us was a fram e-up. Ira ,Tett, a loyal and devoted member of our organization, was also indicted for illegal possession of dynamite. Our enemies, undoubtedly, wi shed with all their hearts that Ira · Jett would v.:eaken under such t errific strain and turn State's witness. But, thank God, Ira Jett did not testify to such a lie. I was so busily involved on the 14th in my courtroom battle against Sheldon that I did not make arrangements about my bail. Upon the conclusion of the Sheldon hea ring I was imprisoned in t he Atlanta Tower . THE LIGHT BREAKS THROUGH THE DARK CLOUDS that always breaks forth through the dark clouds of disappointments and defeats, when men fight for a good and God-sanctioned cause. At long last a prominent and nationally ],mown columnist had taken up the sword of t ruth, and with it was striking mortal-blows against the enemies of our p eople and race. H ere are excerpts from the article : New York.-A f ew days ago a startling story broke in the papers under an Atla nta dateline concerning a secret organization called the Colmnbians, which ap· pears to be a nti-Semitic and anti-Negro. The "break" of the news story was contrived in dramatic fashion, revealing a professional tcuch. The only ground for the startling allegations was the "confessions " of two young backsliders, 18 and 21. If this is a sinister and dangerous organization. however, it obviously is petty by comparison with the outfit which arranged the expose. While the gr an d jury was in session on the 13th \Ve,;tbrook P egler was firing away with some thunder ous blasts aga inst the Non-·Sectarian Anti-Nazi League. His articles appear in the Atlanta Constitution. But Ralph }.lcGill, J ew-stooge editor of that newspap er , held-up these articles during that time and did not publish t he first of them until December 17th. McGill simply did not wish the gr and jury to learn the truth about th.is deadly crowd of mongreli zing J ews and Negroes. As soon a,;; I was released from the Tower on bail my friends showed me th e first of these powerful articles, \1·h ich had been published in New York. I viewed th at arti cle as the clear li ght of hope and victory That organization is the Non-Secta rian Anti-Nazi League of New Yor k. It was organized in 1933 to boycott Hitler's Germany and, by other means, to oppose the rise of Hitler ism. In the yea rs since it has become, by its own boast in the Atlanta case, a secret, private espionage system . It has no official equal in the agencies of the United States government which c·,ren to this day do not include a " secret police" se1·vice of this type . ... The Non-Sectarian Anti-Na zi League ha s absolutely no standing as an official agt )cy of a ny bra nch of the government nor does it pres ent itself to the public as a secret police or detective agency. It operates in the guise of a group opposed to Hi t lerism a nd similar - 18 - -19- I method s amounting to moral a nd political b·lackmail. In the Atlanta case, nevertheless, its agents boastfully told of their cleverness in worming their wa,ginto a private group. E. E. Andrews, the solicitor-general of Atlanta may feel _pleased wit? the momentary and noisy re: suit~ of his collaborat10n with the Non-Sectarian AntiNazi League. In that collaboration however the ~tate, has given officijil recognition t~ an orgi{nizat 1on no l~~s secretive t han the Columbians and much more efficient and, therefore more dangerous to the peace, fi:eedom, priva cy and dignity of the citizens of Georgia and all the other States. The Non-Sectarian Anti-Nazi League has no more r ight to e: mploy the methods that it did employ against the Colum bians than it has to do the same thing to the Masons, the Knights of Columbus, to any innocent, law-abiding family or business organization . . . . The President of the League is Herman Hoffman and the Treasurer is Isidore Lipschutz. Lipschutz is a refugee diamond broke1 from Belgi~m who appears to be either a rich man in hi s own nght or to have large fin a ncial backing. The day after the news of the League's coup in Atlanta. I telephoned t he office of the League in New York to ask information . .. After I asked the man with the accent whether Lipschutz were a C'itizen and he had answered "I cnuldn't tell you", he asked me, "Are you?." "Yes", I said. "A native. Are you a citizen?" " I am an African", he s aid, "An Abyssinian". And when I asked his name he a nswered in gib· berish, which may have been his name, at that. An American ear easily might have had trouble with his name, even if he had spell ed it out. Such is t he expeTiencc of one loyal, native citizen of the United States in an honest approach, without ji mmying, wire-tapping or pilfering, to this private espionage system , uperating under the financial admin;stration, possibly with the financial support, of Mr. Lipschutz, the Antwe1·p diamond broker. - 20 - , I AM STRUCK A COWARD LY BLOW AS I SHAKE THE JUDGE'S HAND ' During the course of my fight in Atlanta I appeared in court befor e Judge Edgar Pomeroy on a matter concerning our charter. The Judge agreed to ~rant th e r equest asked of him b.r l\Ir. Davis. Duke ~s a man with an extremely hot temper and was 1ufuriated by this r ebuff from the judge. But 1t is r easo1:1able t o assume however. that if I or any of my friends had done ' such a dastardly t hing all of us would have been thrown ~nder the j ail. I had 1:-? ~wear an assault warrant against Duke. A prelimmary hearing was held on this case and Duke asked for a jury. This case was on t~e cal~ndar once _to be heard by a jury, but the chief wit ness, t~e JUdg~, was unavailable as he was r eported to be 111. This incident-together with many others-proved t o me that un der the present t yranny of the J ews_ and their stooges a man lias no more le~al _rights in realitv than t he p ower of the orgaruzat10n to which h; belongs. I still h ave the bloody-handkerchief with which I wiped my bloody-face that .day, and I shall ever keep it as a priceless memento of the struggle we are waging t o ·:i:rnt ou~ count ry back into t he hands of r eal 'Whitemen , and out of the hands of the t yr annical Duke-type Scalawa_g, and his J ewish Carpet Bagger masters. Space d~es not p ermit me to go into the details of the t rial. But throughout its entire length the solicitor 's office was in close collaboration with agents of the _Non-Sectarian Anti-Nazi League. They testified agamst :rµe during the trial. There wer e in all t hree indictments against me, a total of seven counts. I was convicted on three counts, and sentenced t9 serve a year on each count, or a total of three years. In the opening statement the solicitor, entirely overlooking the simple and plain acts involved in the indictment, accused me of being the head .of a conspiracy to overthrow t he governments 0£ the City of Atlanta, the State of Georgia and the United States. It was clearly a case of being indicted on one set of alleged facts and being tried on another. 'I'his is the t ypical technique of the J ewish-Gestapo in its frantic effort t o destroy our American civil liberties. One of the trial jurors also served on the grand jury that indicted me. The J ew-controlled press had prejudiced the jurY: against me. . Any and all kinds of so-called evidence was allowed against me, but members and friends who wished to offer evidence for me were not allowed to do so. I was not even allowed to enter the State-granted charter as evidence of our objectives and ideals. C'ity ··············-··············-·--·· Zone....·-·- -· State ................ Civilif ation is founded on the name and teachings of J esus Christ. It follows, therefore, that the enemies of civilization are necessarily the enemies of Jesus Christ. The worst enemy of Jesus Christ is the Jew. The J ews sought to kill our Lord (John 7 :1 ). They precipitated His persecution. They demanded His crucifixion. They brought about the per.secution, assassination and imprisonment of all the Apostles and many of the other early Christian leader s. The most un-Christian and uncivilized movement on earth is Communism. It is anti-Christian and is r eferred to by some as the politics of the anti-Christ. 1. The J ew Karl :Marx was the founder and originator of Communism. 2. The J ew Nikolai Lenin ( original name disputed) led in the establishment of Communism as the official politics of Russia. 3. The Jew Leon Trotsky (real name : Bronstein) was the gen eralissimo of the Red Russian Army which slaughtered over 10 million Christians. Stalin 's second wife is his form er mistress ,the J ewess, r... M. Kaganovitch, daughter of Lazar Kaganovitch, Commissar of Heavy Industries and often spoken of as Stalin's probable successor. There are no less than six Kaganovitches, holding 22 h: ;;h political offices among them, surrounding Stalin. This J ewi:;h family is probably the most powerful in Rmsia. Yiddish , incidentally, is the language spoken in Stalin's home as it was in Len1n 's. There has been no change in t he extent of Jewish control since the earl y years · of the Communist revolution. Indeed, as r ecently as 1935 Major YeatsBrown (European J ungle, page 181) states that in the Central Committ ee of the Commimist Party, consisting of 59 m embers, 95 percent were J ews---1,. e., - 3- 56 memberg-whilc the otl1 er lhtee m embers were married to J cwesses : Stalin, La 'Jo . . and Ossi11sky. Many Jews posing as anti-Communists merely mean that they are antiStalin, but are n~vertheless pro-Trotsky and proi\larx. Never believe them to be anti-Communist u.1Iess they attack all three: Marx, •Lenin and Trotsky. 400,000, there are about 150 Communists.,, I myself am Jewish, and come from Chicago. Beware of Trotskyism The Jew Trotsky (real name: Bronstein) who organized the Bolshevik Army and worked with Lenin and later broke with Stalin, started what he called APFELBAUM GIMEL Jewish Capitalists Support Communism .. 8ELA KUN IERGMAN -6- Leaders of Jewish capital and Jewish Communism get along together. Far from being enemies it is an established fact that a wealthy German Jew (Parvus Relphand) was the "fixer" in arranging the transportation of Lenin from Switzerland through Germany and Sweden to Russia in 1917. It was a Jewish millionaire of Ne·v York City who financed the Bolshevists origina 'ly. Lowe1· class Jews and upper class Jews are always willing to cooperate- to bring Jews into world power. Anti-Christian Communism seems to be the short cut for them. -7- Last Minute Facts Apologists for the Jews claim that the Jews lost ~ontrol of Russia in the Great Purge of Trotskyites in 1937. This does not appear to be the case. Almost eYerytime the Iron Curtain lifts to disclose an important agent of St alin, it reveals a Jew. Thus, when th~ . c_ommentator_ of t he Communist paper Pravda cr1tic1zes t he Umted States newspapers for aidincr ~he enemy" during t he war, it turns out that h~ important Red writer is the Jew David Azalovsky. (U. P. dispatch, May 6, 1946). When we read of the Russian Secret Police (NKVD) functioning in France we discover that their head is Leopole M. Burman, ~ J ew. (Washington Star, May 31, 1946.) A.gain we r ead (W shington T im rs-Herald of December 18 1945) of Rosenglotz, a, Jew, being purchasin g agent for the whole Russian government. . Cardinal Hlond of P oland in a U. Smee the government of Poland is now Communistic and a puppet of Stalin, this again reveals Jews in key positions in a Stalinist Red regime. Romania is another of Stalin's puppet states. The .American Hebrew of August 15, 194 7, boasts that the Jews control Romania. GOLDMANN ROSENFEL.D Let us not forget that l1oth Stalin and Molotov, the . two most . lJOWerfnl rr; en in Russia, are married to Jewesses.

Every current exposure of Communists in the U. S.

reveals a list of Jewish or largely Jewish n ames. Thus when a group of Reds picketed Churchill in New York City ( after Churchill turned against Stalin) and were arrested for their demonstrations, their names as disclosed by the New York Times of May 11, 1946, turn out to be 100 percent Jewish : Albert -9- Shafren, Nelson Levitt, Ber.....ard Silverman, Norman Sternbach, Charles Intrator, Nathan Litwack, Morris Gimowitz, Irvin Greenberg, Milton Seligman, Joseph Nahen, Sol Soolis and Morris Schwart. The five men ousted by the Army from the Aberdeen Proving Ground because of "irrefutable evidence · that they were members of the Communiit Party (Washington Star, .Tuly 19, 1946) were all Jews : Harry Spector, Phil Weiss, Irving Spector, Abraham Kotelchuck and Rheabel Mendelsohn. Although only 5 percent of the population of the United States is Jewish, 60 percent of the· ten State Department aides dismissed for suspected disloyalty (Communists) bear Jewish names: Irving Goldman, Hannah Goldman, Florene Levy, Bernard Nortman, Alexander Lesser and Harold Weisberg. (Washington '1.'1:mes-Herald, September 21, 1947..) The remainder may also have been Jews since many Jews have been concealing their racial identity behind old Gentile names. As everyone knows the Congressional Committee for the Investigation of Un-American Activities has . done some of the most important work in the United States to expose Communist infiltration into our government. When the continuation of this vital . Committee came up before Congress, every Jew in Con~ gress voted to discontinue the Committee on UnAmerican Activities. The record is available for everyone to see in the Congress:Jnal Record of May 17, 1946. -10- Louis Levine, national chairman ?£ the Jewish Council of Russian Relief, recently paid an extended visit to Russia. His observations and boasts speak for themselves. In an article in th_e No~ember, ;~46, issue of Soviet Russia 'J.'oday, Levm (billed as out standin()' leader of American "Jewry") wrote: . "Speci:l concern for the J ewis~ pe?ple ~as characterized the Soviet Union ::1ince its birth ID: 1917. Levine tells how he met famous Jewish surgeons, a Jewish general, and many other high officials of J ewish origin. He said: "It was apparent that the · Soviet Jews participate fully and freely on every level of government activity. The same Levine, speaking in Chicago on the 12th floor at 32 West Randolph street on the night of October 30, 1946, said: ~'Many of the high ranking government officials in Russia are Jewish." He explained one of the devices by which the true Russian people are kept in the dark concerning the extent of Jewish control over them: "Many of the Jewish officials did not look Jewish but they spoke to me privately in Hebrew or Yiddish.' ' 1\fajor Robert H. Williams, formeriy of the American 1\filitary Intelligence, says: "The situation described by Levine undoubtedly reveals the real secret behind the Iron Curtain-the power of the highly organized, utterly rut:!iless Marxist wing of Russian Jewry. · Levine also explains that the synagogues are open and the Jewish people enjoy complete religiou~ freedom. Levine confesses, "At the outset of the war Jews were among the first evacuated from the western regions threatened by the Hitlerite invaders, and shipped to safety east of the Urals. Two million Jews were thus saved." DouO'las Reed the eminent British journalist, said in 1938 : The 'entire press censorship service in Russia is in the hands of Jews.- " Henry J agoda, merciless head of the NKV D (bloodthirsty secret police) is Jewish. Con cludin{)' his article, Levine says: "The Jewish people are u;animous in their love for Stalin. They regard him as the greatest friend of t~e Jewish_people. They attribute t_o his under~tandmg of national minorities and to his leadership the new exalted status of the Soviet Jews." Illaj or Wiliiams, formerly of the Mi~itary IntelI igcnce, says on page 30 of bis book entitled CloserUps-Supplement No. 1: "I have evidenc~ of the use of the following· devices to conceal Jewish strength in Russia: 1. CON GRESSION AL RECORD - APPENDIX It is hard t.o believe tha t they are sincerely interested in the causes they avow. Their very method of operation through violence, division, and destruction so alienates a vast majority of the people as to be counterproductive. Those who foster mass crime do nothing to eliminate the deplorable conditions of poverty and ignorance to which they link their calls t.o violence. That even the link is tll,lse is indicated by the vast number of tne poor and unschooled who are stUI good citizens. Because the violence and mob action and threa ts 1s more serious than would be indicated by the t.otal of dead and injured and the value of property destroyed, 1t 1s impera tive that every responsible citizen make his position clear 1n support of law and order. Failure to do so gtves encouragement to the lawless elements. Respect for the la w is the very h eart of our civilization and freedoms. This respect must be demonstra ted fn more than words and slogans. It must be backed up by action which includes a strong personal commitment to respect and obey the laws, proper support for law enforcement agencies, and full acceptance of a citizen's responsibility t.o cooperate with the police in m aintaining pea ce in the community. rt cannot be stressed t.oo strongly that each individual 1s the first line of defense against lawlessness and criminal a cts. Prepare For Strateg1c Moment . The following quotation comes from t~e Collec~ed W~rks of Le!1m. It is the bones and sinew of the Communist Conspiracy m our Nat10n, and IS FUNDAMENTAL ~ND ELEMENTARY TO EVERY COMMUNIST: "Take advantage of the clumsiness of the enemy and attack him at the time when he least expects attack. Readiness for action must be constant-thus: Today we are faced with the task of organizing and supporting students to demonstrate; tomorrow, perhaps we may be supporting or leading a movement of the unemployed. But today we must take advantage of a strained political sit· uation; In order to capitalize over public indignation, a boycott, a demonstration, a strike might hqve to be organ i zed. Only Communists thus trained in action could at a strategic moment issue the call for the decisive battle." (Vol. II, pp. 21-22) The Communists have m eticulously and zealously carried out the above directive for decades. They h ave chosen the South as the area in which they hope to provoke a violence that could throw our nation into civil strife for their "decisive b attle." Hundreds of identified Communists, therefore, have been colonized in the South to attain this objective. In this long planned Conspitacy, they have been able to win the support, through hiclcl<""n- iclc nti a -ncl u-rp~ , o -ou ands of unwitting Americans. A few of these clearly identified Communists are: Isobel Cerney, Edwin Cerney, Ed Beck, H a r v e y Richards, James Dumbrowski, Prof. Harry C. Steinmetz, Dr. Holland Roberts, Aub rey Williams, Carl Braden, Case Y Gurewitz, Anne Braden, Frank Donner and Carl Bloise. They work with sadistic joy as their plot materializes step by step , far beyond their wildest dreams. Most Communists work in organiza tions such as C.0.R.E., N.A.A.C.P., Muslims S.C.L.C., Southern Conference Educational Fund, and Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee. All of these organizations profess to work in the "interest of Southern welfare and especially on behalf of the Negro people." Actu!:lllY, the American Negro is being used as a pawn by these Soviet conspir ators for the purpose of fann ing the flames of racial hatred as a n expediency for the larg- OUR CHERISHED FREEDOMS ENDANGERED The defense of the cherished freedoms secured and handed down to us by our forefathers ls the responsibility of each American. Knowledge of the enemy, alertness to the danger, and everyday patriotism are the brick and m o r t a r with which we can build an impregnable fortress against Communism. Only the intelligent efforts of all Americans can prevent the decay of public apathy from laying open our Nation to the Red menace. John Edgar Hoover Director, FBI er a ims serving the Soviet Union and its subservient organization in the United States. Communists, such as Carl Bloise, Holland Roberts, Harvey Richards and Ed Beck race back and forth from the Soutli to the North, rc-latlng filghly dramatized, inflamatory outright lies via the press, radio, movies, podium and television about "police brutality" in the South. In this way they serve their Kremlin masters well. It is their goal, as set forth by their leader, Len in, to provoke a violent clash between White and Neg~o citizens in the South, of such magnitude, that civil strife could inevitably follow in the North and West. President Kennedy has played into the hands of the revolutionaries by sending "standby" t;roops to Birmingham . This action condones and stimulates more and larger demonstrative actions and undermines respect for the local law enforcing agencies. Fortunately for America, the white citizens have not been provoked into violence. They are staying away from the troubled areas, and are leaving the city and state agencies to enforce the laws and ordinances of Birmingham. 25c Negro Leader Speaks The Truth President Kennedy recently, in effect, called for capitulation to the Leninist tactic of demonstrative pressures to attain red objectives, when he sta:ted that we must give and yield to "peaceful revolution without bloodshed" on the civil rights issue. The entire· -so-called "Negro Liberation Movement" is a monstrous fraud initiated years ago by the Kremlin. Every citizen should recognize it as such. The President is yielding to the organized, communist - led minority. Any violence, any bloodshed resulting around this Issue would stem from communist provocation. The following statement by a great Negro citizen, Donald Warden, chairman of the Afro-American Association, on June 4, 1963, completely wipes out the left-wing administration attitude on desegregation: "After 100 years of spending millions of dollars, time and energy fighting for desegregation , we still are dropping out and flunking out of school, our welfare dependents are living in slums and are lacking in racial pride and knowledge of our African past. .. look to yourselves an d stop trying to emulate the white man . Stop u sing bleaching creams and hair straighteners. The future of the Afro · American people will depend upon racial pride, initiative, building W'ell planned ellJc- Jent businesses and factories and re- ducing crime, alcoholic consumption and dependence on welfare." He concluded by urging all Negroes to live in dignity and to solve their problems through self-help. He further declared that the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People has had little effect upon the masses of Afro-Americans. This profound and brave analysis by this great American ls the truth, and applies to all national minority groups; the Negro, the Irish, the Jew, the Pole, the German. The pride dignity, and initiative of minority g;.oups expressed for generations in our competitive free enterprise system is what has made America by far the greatest nation in the world. It is in a nticip ation of just this possibility that comm unists, through hidden identity, are quickly d irecting such organizations as the N.A.A.C.P., the Muslims, the Committee on Racial E qu a lity, and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference into t he red t actics of mass demonstrations, m a rches, picketing, strikes, sit-ins. etc., in the densely populated Negro areas of such industrial cities as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Detroit, San Fra ncisco a nd Washington, D.C. Is all of this far fetched, or "frig ht peddling" as Senator Kuchel would have the citizenry believe? No it is not. This is one of the m ajor' functions of the United Na tion s. HEADS UP April-May, 1963 Red "Educators" Concentrate In·SouthGeorgia Negro C olleges Main Target TARGET SPELMAN COLLEGE Edwin H. Cerney, commu nist "art educator," who was dismissed from Stockton College, California, in 1950 for refusing to sign t he loy alty oath, is now teaching at Spelm an College, G!:!orgia. Cerney, for more t h an two decades a n active foreign agent, is one of the many Reds who h ave been sent t o the South t o sow the seeds of Leninism a nd rebellion amongst st u dents. He has been ident ified as extremely active in the Ca lifornia Bay Area from 1950 t o 1958, a t w hich time he departed, as directed, for Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife, Isobel Cerney, an internation al communist emissary. "Red Artist" Cerney, in addition to h aving been identified as a commu n ist cadre, h as been a ssociated with more tha n two score commu nist-front organizations. Accompan ying Cerney and residing on the cam pus is his wife, Isobel Cer ney. She has been and is by far the most a ctive agent of the two. She has, over the y ears, traveled as a communist interna tional emissary throughout the WQrld. She perjured herself in 1948 when she filed t o run for Congress in California when she swore she was not a communist. Her principal activities have been and are today within the varied "peace orga nizations" such as Women's League for Peace a nd Freedom (communist front ), Sane Nuclear Testing, as well as the "Negro liberat ion" orga nizations. She has now, as in the past, together w ith her husba nd, become associated with the various Qu aker committees. She and h er associates a t Spelman are a ctive in t he varied sit-ins, picketing, m arch ing and demonstra ting conducted by the "Student Non-Violent Coordinati ng Committees." Profcsso of " p sych ologyu H-n rry C . Steinmetz, who was dism issed from Sa n Diego Sta te College, California, in Febru ary, 1954, for h is Red activities, is now teaching "Soviet" psychology a t Spelman. He appeared before t h e House Committee on Un - American Activities in 1956, and resorted to the Fif th Amendment wh en q u estioned as to h is communist p arty membership. Governor Brown of California, who was at that time the Attorney General, vehemently st ated that "teachers wh o s ta n d on their constitutional rights before witch hunting committees" could not be fired. Steinmetz, a many-times identified comm unist, is carrying on his Reddirected tactics a t Spelman College very much in t he same manner as he has for more than three decades. His activities parallel those of the Cerneys. Two other "educators " who ably work with the Cerneys a'nd Steinmetz at Spelman College, are Professors Zynn and Foster. Both h ave been a ssociated with left -wing causes and outrig ht communist front organizations. TARGET MOREHOUSE COLLEGE Professor G. Murray Branch is, u n questionably, t h e most vociferous left educator at Morehouse College and in the entire Georgia Negro College Syst em. This "red fronter" h as over the years been associa ted with m ore tha n 34 different commieline v e n t u r e s, many of which were outright Red fronts. The following a re a few of his documented activities: American Committee for the Protection of Foreign Born, Committee for the Appeal for Amnesty for Communist s Convicted Under the Smith A ct, Committee to Secure Justice for Morton Sobell, Brief Amici Curiae for the Communist Party, Internationa l Workers Order, National Committee to Repeal t he McCarran Act, Nation al Council for Arts Sciences and Profess ions, Souther~ Conference Educational Fund, Southern Negro Youth Congress. A close red-fronter at Moorehouse College, to Prof. Branch, is Benjamin E. Mays, who has been closely a ligned with m ore than 32 activit ies of the left. Other "educators" who rally arou nd Branch a nd Mays are Brailaford R. Brazeal, John Hope and Rev. Samuel W. Willia m s. TARGET CLARK COLLEGE The left -wing powerhouse at Clark College is James P. Brawley, active in the Meth odist Federation for Social Action, and t he Southern Conference Educationa l Fund. TARGET ATLANTA UNIVERSITY Professor Rufus E. Clement has a long and continuous background of outright communist front activities, principa lly : American Committee for the Protection of Foreign Born, Americ.a-n Council on Soviet Relations Con- gress on Civil Rights , Sou ther n Negro Youth Congress, Southern Conference Education al Fund, National Council of the Arts, Sciences and Professions. Independent Socialist Lonnie Cross has widespread influ~nce amongst the stu dent body in his varied left activities. TARGET GAMMON THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY Working together along the left line at this college are Frank W. Clelland an~ Ch_arles B. Gopher, having been actiye m such organizations as the N_atio~al Fe~eration of Constitutional L1bert1es, Wm the Peace Conference Southern Conference Educationai Fund. The above documented information on Red concentration in Georgia was gat~ered _by the editor of "Heads Up" during his recent speaking trip through the South. Obviously these "educators" are only a few 'of the (Continu ed on Page 4, Column 1) Page 3 Editorial on Civil Rights Most of the American press has back ed the recent demonstrative actions in our Nation for the "civil rights and liberation of the Negro people." The theory, obviously, is that there shou ld be "civil rights for the Negro, but not necessarily for the white citi zen s. For the "civil rights" for the Negro, is to associate with anyone he pleases, in schools, housing, etc. But t h e white man's "civil rights" are more limited: he is not to be allowed to decide where he shall live, eat and where his children shall go to school. In short, it is the theory of sacrificing th e white citizens on the altar of Negro "rights." This whole theory is of communist origin. Negro Progress Rapid What is the true status of our Negro citizenry? They have made more progress u p the economic ladder in the last 100 years than any other racewhite, yellow or red- ever made in 1,000 years of history. From a condition of absolute slavery 100 years ago, the Negro citizen has risen to a point where he now fares better than many Europeans- better paid, better housed and better educated. From slavery a n d ignorance to an economic status superior to the average Frenchman, the average Italian, and the average citizen of West Germany. Economic Advances Today the millions of Negro citizens have a total ye~rly income of approximately $25 billion. Statistics of 1958 reveal that the American Negro citizen who worked a full year earned a median income of $3,308 (it is much more today) meaning that half the Negro workers received more than this and half received less. That is more than the $2.234 that the. aver age worker ln Great Brita in received, and more than four times the esti mated $800 that the aYerage worker in the Soviet Union received. Twentyfour years ago the median income for the American Negro was $639, less than one-fourth what he receives today. Demonstrtive, mass - pressure comm u nist tactics were not respon ible for this progress. It was the normal evolutionary process that is derived from our God -given free enterprise system that rewards through initia tive, in'genuity and desire to progress. The Negro citizen has done exceed ingly well, and will continue; unless they become involved and engulfed by the revolutionary tactic as employed by Martin Luther King, Jr , and his communist associates. His tactic can lead to the destruction of our free enterprise and with it both the status world -wide of both egro and White. HEADS UP Page 4 BROWN RECALL GAINS SUPPORT The recall of Governor Brown and Tom Braden was suggested in the last issue of "Heads Up" as a means of ridding the State Administration of a leadership that has flagrantly disregarded the mandate of the citizenry; to scrap the collectivist-socialist type of "progressive" education. The Governor h as become an instrumentality of the minority organization, the strong, left-wing, communist generated California Democratic Councils. He has also established an unchallengeable record of appeasing, collaborating and capitulating to communist objectives as set forth by the California Democratic Councils; and continues to have association with identified communists. He recently condoned and encouraged the communist tactic of the sitdown demonstration by members of the Committee on Racial Equality, a communist instrumentality. The sitdown in Sacramento was a public nuisance and in violation of the trespassing code. Brown's approval of this Red tactic can set a precedent for similar Red activities that can result in provocation to violence. "Heads Up" is grateful for the scores of letters from the many citi· zens who want to start circulating recall petitions at once. The Ad Hoc Committee will, in the next issue of "Heads Up," call for a conference of all Californians inter essted in "Good American" Brown's recall. At that time the Ad Hoc Committee will be replaced by a duly elected permanent committee; and the recall movement will be put into gear. The Governor and the Chairman of the Board of Education can a nd must be recalled. Citizens interested are urged to continue sending letters to "Heads Up" expressing their willingness l.o partjci.p· tc . UNDERCOVERThe editor is proud to introduce this new column "UNDERCOVER" in tribute to the many undercover agents for the F.B.I. now working under mucJ;i strain and hardship within the network of the communist conspiracy. They all know that some day they will be called to come forth and testify before many governmental agencies; and in so doing, will subject themselves to vicious social economic and possible physical attrition generated by communists. Many, wh~ have surfaced, have dropped from the public eye as a defensive media and some have ~ince pe:ished. "Heads Up will present one such great America~ in this column m each issue. It is hoped that citizens knowing the whereabouts of former undercover agents will contact . Karl Prussum. Box 6519, San Diego 6, Califorl'lia. They are much needed now in the showdown fight against communism. JULIA CLARICE BROWN J~~ia Clarice Brown served her country under great duress and with much sacn~1ce as an undercover agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation from late m the summer of 1951 until May of 1960. She was the principal witness at ~ hearing held in Washington, D.C., on June 4, 5, 6 and 7, 1962. She, therefore, is the most recent undercover agent to come forth. Her testimony, throughout, completely exposes the fallacy that "there is no threat from within" as expounded repeatedly by Attorney General Kennedy and the many so-called "liberals." ' Mrs. _Brown's testlmonoy, once again, reveals the total disregard that the commumsts have· for the welfare of the Negro citizenry. She repeatedly pointed out that the communists are ecstatic about Negro problems, and use them to fo~ent hatred and civil strife in our Nation. She vividly describes the communists' carefully planned infiltration into the N.A.A.C.P. She describes communist methods in fund raising, and the implementation of "united front" tactics, which were prescribed as the "chief task" of the communists at the December 1959 National Communist Party Convention. Especially interesting and disturbing was her testimony showing communist intrigue relating to the infiltration of church organizations. Mrs. Brown was active in such organizations as the N.A.A.C.P., Sojourners for Truth and Justice, the National Negro Labor Council, the Progressive Party, Committee for the Protection of Foreign Born, 'Bill of Rights Conference. The activities of more than 100 communists currently and formerly residing in the Cleveland area were described in her testimony. Her testimony was most productive and of infinite value to America. She resides in California and is daily continuing her fight against communism by lecturing and -writing, despite the vicious and cruel economic and social attrition directed against her by the communists and the "intellectual -liberal" element in our Nation. ATL ANTA - Riot-torn cities of the North now face a new threat of Negro disruption. The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. , is organizing what he calls "civil disobedience on a massive scale." · ere are some of the things he talks' about: o A march on vVashington by thousands of unemployed Negroes who would camp out in the capital city, somewhat like the bonus marchers" of 1932. • A hungry people's sit-in" at the D epartment of Labor in Washington. • Sit-ins of unemployed to block gates of factories in many cities. • School boycotts on a weekly basis. The idea, as Dr. King put it, is "forcefull y to cripple the operations of an oppressive _society." He said: "To dislocate the functioning of a city without destroying it can be more effective than a riot because it can be longer-lasting, costly to the societY, but not wantonly destructive. "Moreover, it is more difficult for Government to quell it by superior fo rce." Dr. King revealed his latest plan on August 15 at a convention of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) which he heads. His listeners, mostly Negroes, cheered him . It was the most militant speech yet by the Tegro minister who in the past has preached nonviolence, and has worked mostly in the South. . .l _J A WARNING TO MEN To all men, especially ministers of the gospel and whosoever will: The Lord is not pleased with the work that is being done by our leaders and Missionaries. He has given me a message to convey to all Christians and sinners. The world is in greater turmoil, was and is suffering from poverty and self-destruction. Unless we as Christians unite and tell the world what we should do to save ourselves, we shall be destroyed. This applies to our religious leaders and organizations of today. The spirit of God works with me, and I know he is displeased. God has told me that you will be given a period of from three to six years to consider and work together. The past sufferings we have felt is nothing compared to what the future holds. The things that the Lord is most displeased with is the work of the religious leaders. This whole system should be changed. If anyone questions me or would like to talk to me, contact my home at 324-9486. 5329 South Ellis. REV. Vargas received the death sentence in a 1926 trial for the slaying in 1925 of a woman. The sentence was later commuted to life and in 1929 he was pardoned. A later investigation showed he was innocent. Vargas won a $26,500 judgment in 1958, but a higher court set it aside. He refiled his suit after, the state legislature passed a law permitting persons to sue the state for false imprisonment. Judge Robert Murray made the $20,000 award. Vargas had sought $25,000, the maximum permitted under the state Jaw. .--.-r ~ ~==-<;t=:'=r=:='~/=F-'L~ ~ ·~ -
