Utoy Forest Community in requesting that you use your influence and office in persuading Atlanta Negro real estate brokers to not solicit or accept listings for the sale of properties in this neighborhood. As you are aware all of us are white and members of the Caucasian race and nearly all own our homes which represent our accumulated savings. I personally am a developer and have built and sold many of the fine homes in our neighborhood. I now am holding for sale one dwelling and 15 vacant lots on which I propose to build houses for sale. Needless to say, the purchases of near--by homes by Negroes have disturbed our neighbors and have influenced _prospective white· purchasers to not buy in this neighborhood. Any help that you can render to assist us in our efforts and desire to preserve the character of our neighborhood, by zoning or otherwise, will be appreciated. F.
