We are also pleased to learn that information being assembled on each of the ll0,000 parcels within the City will provide a means for properly evaluating progress being made toward attaining the goals established in the City's Housing Code Compliance Program. Initial inspections under the Housing Code, periodically followed up by re-inspections are, of course, only a means whereby the desired result of compliance with the code can be qbtained. The employment of additional staff should enable the City to approach a better balance between the three stages, initial inspections, re-inspections, and eventual compliance.
