FILM (Negro Slum We cannot forever keep our eyes closed to the fact that nearly 90 , 000 Negroes are l iv i ng in substandard hous ing where p lumb i ng and sanitation fac i l i ties are not ade_q uate. An d e v e n worse - = 31 , 000 color ed r e s i den ts are l i ving i n what is offi c i a l l y designated "d i lapidated housing" , - =that which is beyon d repair a n d if they weren't givin g cov er to human l ives they could o n ly be-- a n d shou l d be --destroyed.
