Dear Gerald:
In reference to your inquiry as to the number of trees in the
downtown area which need immediate emergency maintenance,@I wish
to advise that there are 48 trees in pots and in the ground
which should be fertilized, mulched and watered; and additional
12 trees need replacement and perhaps some ground cover should
be added to the top of all pots. The letter is still being
discussed.
The above does not include the numerous trees plated this week
at Peachtree Center between Cain and Baker.
