Dear Mayor Allen:
Citizens of Atlanta viewed the televised events
of Tuesday, September 6th, with an immense pride
in their Mayor. Not only did your professional
conduct save Atlanta from a damaging experience,
but helped most of us remember that rare, beauti-
ful quality of a courageous man.
As the late President Kennedy often remarked, "one
man can make a difference" and September 6th has
given us positive proof of that!
