Dear Mayor Allen:
I would like to compliment you in the manner in which you handled the very
serious explosive situation which faced our great city last Tuesday evening.
I saw all this disturbance on television and I would like to say that it
took a man with a lot of intestinal fortitude to walk into an angry, violent
mob of people as you did to keep this very deplorable situation to a bare
minimum,
I talked with a number of people who did not think very much of you as
the leader of our government and since your actions on Tuesday evening they
have changed their minds and have nothing but very high praise for you noWe
