Dear Mayor:
I have followed with interest the
recent racial difficulty in Atlanta.
I wish to commend you on the position
you have taken. The near riot having been
incited notwithstanding your moderate attitude
and leadership in solving the complex problem
in Atlanta and the achievements made by Atlanta
to this end is all the more disturbing.
I believe you have and certainly
deserve the wholehearted support of a great
majority of all people both black and white.
